The Annual Membership Meeting or Special Membership Meeting
The Notice of the Annual Membership Meeting or Special Membership Meeting will contain any proposed amendments to the Duna Vista Resorts By-laws and/or proposed changes to dues and/or fees and any other items that may require membership voting. Time will be allocated at the Annual Membership Meeting or Special Membership Meeting for member comments on these proposed amendments and/or changes to dues and/or fees. Only the election of Board Directors will be voted on at the Annual Membership Meeting.
Timing of Ballot Vote Mailing
Within 15 days after the Annual Membership Meeting or Special Membership Meeting the ballot voting materials will be sent to members in good standing.
Ballot Voting Materials and Guidelines
Members will receive by email instructions on how to complete the on-line voting process. Members without an email address will receive an instruction sheet and ballot by USPS mail. Paper ballots must be postmarked by the day the on-line election ends and returned to Duna Vista Resorts, PO Box 585, Ludington, MI 49431, without a return address (for privacy purposes).
Timing of Members to Return Completed Ballot
Robert’s Rules allows not less than ten days between receiving and mailing back ballots to Duna Vista Resorts.
Communicating Results to Membership
Once the on-line voting has ended and paper ballots have been received and counted, results will be communicated to the membership within 15 days, either on the Duna Vista Resorts’ website, by email, or by USPS mail.
